HACKED: A Technology Magic Show in Las Vegas

HACKED is the live technology magic show created and performed by digital illusionist Keelan Leyser, running inside Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce at Mandalay Bay, reimagined for the run as the LAZER CORP showroom. It is where magic meets technology: a fast, funny, modern illusion show built for a Las Vegas audience that has seen the old tricks before and wants something that feels like the future.

The Show

Magic has moved on from rabbits and sawn-in-half assistants, and Keelan has spent more than fifteen years building the genre that replaced them. HACKED fuses close-up sleight of hand with screens, robotics, and the look and feel of near-future technology, then wraps the whole thing in a story. The setting is LAZER CORP, a fictional 1980s big-tech corporation, and for the length of the show the room becomes its showroom. Expect digital illusions, real audience interaction, and technology behaving in ways it very much should not.

Without giving the good parts away, here are a few of the moments people talk about on the way out: predictions that were somehow made and sealed long before the show began, an ordinary audience member's phone that stops behaving like their phone, and Navitron, the show's humanoid robot, who has opinions of his own. Every set piece is designed to look impossible in a way a card trick alone never could, because the technology is part of the illusion rather than a backdrop to it.

Inside LAZER CORP

Keelan does not run the stage alone. He performs as a team with L.I.L.A., the Lazer Interactive Logical Assistant and the dry, sardonic voice of the LAZER CORP system, and with Navitron, the humanoid robot who joins him out front. The three of them carry the audience through a night that plays like a corporate product launch from 1983 that has gone gloriously off the rails, complete with a Voice-of-God narrator and a world that slowly reveals it knows more about the room than it should.

Keelan Leyser is a British-born, Las Vegas-based magician and digital illusionist. He holds the British Magical Grand Prix Championship, has appeared on more than 100 television shows across over 60 countries, and has performed for audiences ranging from corporate boardrooms to royalty, including King Charles. He is also co-author of Unseen, published by Bloomsbury Sigma. Many of the technology-driven illusions now performed by other magicians started with Keelan and his team, and HACKED is the show where all of it comes together on one stage.
